2 pound cheese curds
1 and 1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon garlic salt
1 1/2 cups vegetable, canola, or peanut oil
Preheat the oil to 375°F. (Utilize a thermometer and keep a close eye on the temperature.)
Until smooth, combine buttermilk, flour, baking soda, garlic salt, and egg.
Coat a few cheese curds in batter.
Fry a few at a time for a few seconds on each side, until golden brown.
Dry with a paper towel.
